How Playing A Space Game Taught Me How To Effectively Write Article Submissions

I started playing the game Starfleet commander. It is a adventure game of conquest and space battles geared towards followers of the Star Trek and Stargate SG-1. So when I ran across the game, It was a far gone conclusion that I would be drawn into playing. I had no more power of escaping from the game’s magnetic attraction then the U.S.S Enterprise or the U.S.A.F. Prometheus does when trying to escape the gravitational pull of a black hole.

When you first begin the game, you are provided a cargo ship, and two mines – an ore and crystal for resources and building inventory on a home planet.

The object of the game is a combination of Sims City and some of the land conquest adventure games that are available in the marketplace. You start slowly building from scratch with minimum resources, and by being consistently systematic, in the process of time, your empire is built.  It takes time…a lot of time, and energy, but if you are consistent and systematic, by staying the course, you begin to see results.

Much like writing using article marketing, the same is true and clear. You begin with a topic and nothing more. As you begin writing, the ideas and thoughts at first comes slowly, but by the time the hand catches the mind’s flow of thought the article or project has already been knocked down.

David Wood-an Internet and Network Marketer, and more recently the newest MLSP (MLM Lead System Pro) upstart superstar stated in a webinar interview, that the secret to his success is actually no secret at all. He explained that laser focused attention on one marketing strategy over a period of time is what is needed to achieve your goals. Using article marketing as his strategy, he shared his four step marketing process:

  • Creating original content- writing an article
  • Bookmarking your article-using OnlyWire.com
  • Promote your article-placing a video up about your article on sharing networks You Tube, etc…)
  • Promoting your article through submissions every single day.

Writing for me comes as a chore and not out of a love or passion for it. I would much rather dictate the words and have them print out themselves than for me having to think about expressing my thoughts on paper or computer screen. The words just does not come pouring out of me. Rather it is more of a trickle. So for me to attempt to write and submit an article with relevant content consistently for 100 consecutive days is nothing short of an event.

Yet that is exactly the challenge that was put before me by Mr. David Wood. Not just me alone, but anyone who desires a continuing stream of qualified leads coming to their landing page or website. I’m not talking 5 to 10 leads per week either. But rather, 50 to 60 leads per day consistently flowing into your personalized sales funnel. If those numbers sounds impressive, they are, but those numbers are conservative. By the way, if you do not have a sales funnel system of your own you will need one, or you will be missing out on one of the keys to your success.

David Wood’s 100 day challenge:

1.    Create one new piece of original content per day

2.    Promote that content using his four step process

3.    Point that content towards your MLSP sales funnel

4.    Do it for the next 100 days

If you believe that you can sponsor at least one person into your companies compensation plan then I would advise you to take action. To listen to David’s webinar in it’s entirety, click on the link below.
